Seek the Ways

Seek the Ways is a UNICEF Pacific digital platform created with and for boys across the Pacific. It supports boys’ wellbeing as they grow up and navigate manhood, relationships, and digital life. Seek the Ways provides safe, engaging, and culturally grounded content on manhood, health, respectful relationships, and online safety.

You can check out the site at www.seektheways.org

Across 2025, Evident provided research, design and technical support to UNICEF Pacific to develop this innovative platform. Designed to feel familiar and accessible, Seek the Ways uses short videos, clear visuals, and a social-media-style layout to give boys a private and trustworthy space to explore questions and reflect on what it means to be their best selves, with care, respect, and empathy at the centre.

Topics include:
    •    Equality
    •    Manhood
    •    Health
    •    Relationships
    •    Digital Safety

A co-created, Pacific-grounded approach

Evident supported UNICEF Pacific to develop Seek the Ways through a highly participatory and consultative process. The team facilitated two rounds of co-creation workshops with approximately 120 boys across Fiji, the Federated States of Micronesia, Tonga, and Vanuatu.

The boys told us that their online and offline worlds are deeply interconnected, not separate spaces, and that digital spaces play a significant role in shaping relationships, identity, and behavior.

Seek the Ways is designed as a modular, scalable platform. Looking ahead, UNICEF Pacific will continue to add further topics to the website based on emerging program needs and feedback from user data on what is most popular and useful.

To maximize reach and sustainability, there are free facilitation materials that enable partners to integrate the platform into offline settings. These materials enable discussions and activities that help adults introduce and use the platform safely and appropriately with boys.
